The Smashing Pumpkins Concerts in Denver

The Smashing Pumpkins are scheduled to perform at Ball Arena on October 27, 2026 at 8:00 PM, with doors listed for 6:30 PM.

The Denver date falls in the western half of the Rats in a Cage Tour, between stops in Austin and Salt Lake City before the run continues through Las Vegas and the Pacific Northwest.

Aghori Mhori Mei, released in 2024, brought the Pumpkins back toward a more guitar-focused approach after the expansive ATUM project. Tracks such as “Sighommi,” “Pentagrams” and “Edin” gave Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin newer material that could sit naturally beside heavier songs from the band’s 1990s catalog.

The 2026 tour also arrives in the year of the 35th anniversary of Gish, the band’s debut album, adding another reason for older material to remain part of the conversation.

Few alternative-rock bands have a catalog that shifts as dramatically as The Smashing Pumpkins. A single concert can move from the dense guitars of Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness to electronic textures, acoustic songs and newer progressive material.

That breadth is what makes the Ball Arena date more than a straightforward nostalgia show: the current band has both a classic catalog and an active modern recording history to draw from.
