The Temptations bring more than six decades of Motown history to Denver in early 2027. The current group is still led by founding member Otis Williams, the sole surviving member of the original Temptations, and continues to tour a catalog that includes some of the most recognizable vocal-group recordings in American music. The Denver concert is scheduled for January 13 at Paramount Theatre, following Colorado dates in Beaver Creek and Colorado Springs.
The Temptations at Paramount Theatre
The Temptations are scheduled to perform at Paramount Theatre in Denver on January 13, 2027 at 7:30 PM. The date comes during a Colorado run that also includes Beaver Creek and Colorado Springs.
A theater setting is a natural match for a show built around vocal harmony, choreography and a deep catalog rather than large-scale production effects.
Otis Williams and a Living Motown Legacy
Otis Williams remains the link between the current group and the original Temptations formed in Detroit in 1961. He has stayed with the group through every era, while longtime member Ron Tyson has been part of the lineup since 1983.
That continuity gives the modern Temptations something unusual for a legacy act: the current show is not simply a tribute to the original group, but a continuation of the same organization led by one of its founders.
From “My Girl” to Temptations 60
The set naturally draws from songs such as “My Girl,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “Get Ready,” “Just My Imagination,” “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone” and “Ball of Confusion.” Recent performances have continued to feature many of those classics.
The group has also continued recording new music. Temptations 60, released in 2022, included new material and a Smokey Robinson collaboration, and the group has indicated that additional new work is in development.
