Metal Church with Armored Saint - November 8, 2026
Metal Church and Armored Saint bring two veteran American heavy-metal catalogs to The Federal Theatre on November 8, 2026. The Denver show starts at 7:00 PM and pairs bands whose histories reach back to the early 1980s but developed on opposite sides of the U.S. metal map. Metal Church emerged from the Pacific Northwest scene, while Armored Saint came out of Los Angeles. Together, the bill feels less like a nostalgia package and more like a meeting of two long-running bands that helped define traditional American heavy metal outside the biggest mainstream names.
Two Classic U.S. Metal Bands on One Bill
Metal Church built its reputation on sharp riffs, power-metal vocals and darker thrash-adjacent songwriting, while Armored Saint developed a more melodic but equally heavy style around John Bush and Joey Vera. The combination gives the Denver show a strong classic-metal identity.
Why Armored Saint Is More Than Support
Armored Saint have their own deep catalog, including March of the Saint, Delirious Nomad and Symbol of Salvation. With John Bush’s history in both Armored Saint and Anthrax, the band carries unusual weight on a co-bill like this.
The Federal Theatre Show
The event is scheduled for Sunday, November 8 at 7:00 PM at The Federal Theatre in Denver. Fans of traditional heavy metal should treat the bill as a true double draw rather than arriving only for the final set.
